NSRI EMERGENCY
OPERATION CENTRE (EOC)

087 094 9774

We had the privilege of blessing the 8.8 metre rescue vessel, Spirit of DHL II, at NSRI Yzerfontein this past weekend.

DHL Express has supported the NSRI in many ways and after years of being a Platinum Partner for many years they are now one of our Strategic Partners.

DHL’s contribution is incredibly valuable as they service our courier needs locally; between our volunteer support centre and all 46 stations as well as from time to time our overseas needs. Recently they have shipped our Gath Helmets from Australia which are critical for our volunteers and form part of the Persona Protective Equipment they need to carry out all the rescues and the training. DHL are currently shipping mission critical electronic equipment from the UK for our ORC project. Over and above all the shipping they do for us, DHL also helped us get the “Team Sea Rescue” cycle shirt project off the ground by sponsoring the production of them for two years. In addition to this DHL has sponsored our Station Commanders Conference jackets annually since 2018 as well as the printing of our Annual Integrated Report every year.

Simply put, DHL are family… they play a very strategic role in our organization and are always enthusiastic about going the extra mile for us.

If you would like more information about sponsoring one of our rescue vessels please contact Alison Smith on 021 434 4011 or email alison@searescue.org.za
