This weekend saw all the Surf Lifesaving Clubs in the Western Cape compete in the Western Cape Surf Lifesaving Champs in Milnerton. Sea Rescue was represented for two Surf Rescue Swimmers from the Melkbosstrand Rescue Station, Station 18. The Clubs sent their most competitive lifesavers and the competition was extremely tough, as always. Both Olivia Hutson and Inge de Keyser gave it their best. Inge ended 6th overall in the Surf Ski final when she competed in a field of 20 skiers. Olivia netted a Silver Medal for her place in the long run. Well done to the both of them, you have done Sea Rescue proud. Inge De Keyser catches a wave to finish 6th overall in a 20 strong field.
