In a break from tradition the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) is giving away 4 cars this year in their annual fundraiser. And yesterday they hosted the first draw to award one car to a lucky donor, a Mitsubishi ASX 2.0L worth R450 000.
Mr Hogg of KwaZulu - Natal got the fright of his life when the NSRI surprised him with the news that he had been drawn as the winner of the fabulous Mitsubishi prize.
His first words “it’s a trick!” were quickly allayed by reassurances from NSRI CEO Dr Cleeve Robertson that he is a genuine winner.
Mr Hogg has been a donor to the NSRI for over 12 years and is a keen supporter of the organisation’s rescue work.
The NSRI’s 4-Car Competition runs until 13th December 2022, with another two winners to be drawn at the end of this year.
The unique competition offers a first prize of two vehicles worth over a million rand and a second prize car worth R490 000
A huge congratulations to Roger Hogg who walked away with the first of 4 Mitsubishi prizes!
The draw was under the watchful eye of independent auditors Cecil Kiplen & Co.
