Oceana Group strengthens life-saving support with renewed NSRI Platinum Partnership
We’re proud to celebrate the renewal of Oceana Group’s Platinum Partnership with the NSRI, marked by a special cheque handover at Station 3, V&A Waterfront.
Through their recent golf day, Oceana raised an incredible R283,000, alongside confirming their 2026 Platinum Partnership contribution of R395,000. This ongoing support strengthens a partnership that has spanned over two decades and continues to make a real difference in saving lives and promoting water safety across South Africa.
Since first supporting the NSRI in 2002, Oceana has played a vital role in enhancing rescue capabilities, supporting drowning prevention programmes, and empowering coastal communities—especially within the small-scale fishing sector—with essential lifesaving skills.
Together, we’ve also expanded our impact through community initiatives, including water safety education for children, Mandela Day activities, and coastal clean-ups.
This partnership represents more than funding—it reflects a shared commitment to safer waters, stronger communities, and protecting livelihoods connected to our oceans.
Thank you, Oceana Group, for standing with us in our mission to save lives, change lives, and create futures.
