Over the next few days our Lifeguards at NSRI Station 18 Melkbosstrand and NSRI Station 37, Jeffreys Bay will be competing at the Lifesaving Nationals in Port Elizabeth. We had a good kick off at the Lifesaving Masters this past weekend, with Sea Rescue bringing home a few gold medals.Natasha Kriel, our Melkbosstrand Unit captain received a smashing first place for the Malibu Race, Beach sprints, and her ultimate specialty, Beach Flags.Natasha an advanced Paramedic, tore her tricep at work last year October. Despite that she persevered and made her team proud. Due to tendinitis, Tash will be beach bound at our Senior National championships later this week with no water events. However, she will be diving head first into the beach arena to compete for her gold in Flags. Natasha taking her 'first place' in SprintsWe our so proud of the results! #ProudlyNSRI
