Converted shipping containers are extremely useful. We set them in place during season and they provide a home for our Lifeguards. The space is carefully configured. Inside is storage space, place to tend to a casualty if need be, space for the lifeguards to complete their daily paperwork and on the roof - a shaded lookout spot. At night the container is securely locked and off season it returns to the yard for annual maintenance. Because these containers are in public spaces we partner with artist Skubalisto to bring Sea Rescue to life and to turn the container into a story. To read more about the artist, page through our Winter 2018 magazine Follow this link to view our container in JBayFollow this link to view our container at Monwabisi
